This is my fifth-year teaching in Homer, but I have been teaching for a total of 38 years. During those years I have taught a variety of subjects and levels. I completed my undergraduate degree at Northwestern College in Orange City, IA and my master degree at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. For the last 33 years I have lived in Moville with my husband Randy. Randy farms, raises feeder cattle and drive semi hauling ag related products. Our four boys are now all grown and out of school but continue to live close to us. This is especially nice since we also have five grandchildren. When I have free time, I enjoys spending it at our condo which is located on East Lake Okoboji in Spirit Lake, IA. I also enjoy reading, gardening, scrapbooking and repurposing furniture. I am looking forward to my new teaching assignment in the junior high. Having the opportunity to teach some of the students I have had in previous years will be an added pleasure.
