Mrs. Uhl, Elementary Principal

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am a firm believer that every child is capable of success. I value a collaborative approach when working with families and staff. I look forward to seeing everyone back in the building and enjoying our updated facilities. We will have a school year full of growth and adventures together! This will be my tenth year at Homer Community Schools. I graduated from Homer in 2007. During my time at Homer, I have taught various elementary grade levels as well as beginning my third year as administrator. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and graduate degree in PK-8 Administration from Wayne State College. My husband, Adam, and I have a eight year old daughter, Addalie. She will be in 2nd grade this year. We have three dogs - Callie, Remie, and Bennie. I enjoy reading, watching Husker football, camping, fishing, and spending time as a family.
