I grew up on a farm near Allen where I spent most of my grade school and high school years. Attended Northeast immediately following H.S. earning a degree in residential / commercial electrical wiring. After a year in the electrical trade, I went back to school at Wayne State College eventually earning B.S.E. and M.S.E. degrees. Following one year of teaching at Kearney State College and three years at NE Indian Comm. College (now Little Priest) I headed back to college at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO. Following graduation, with a ministry degree in "98", I stayed in Joplin for several years. I started both an electrical business and my family there. We moved back to Nebraska in 2002 to work as a minister and continue the electrical business in Wakefield. Following eight years of being bi-vocational I accepted a position as the ag/Ind. arts instructor at Allen High School. The requirement for an Ag endorsement took me to UNL for the completion of my Ag - Ed certification. Following a seven-year stint at Allen, I accepted the position as Ind. Arts instructor here at Homer in 2017. I have five children, three of which are in college, with two still at home. We continue to llive in Wakefield.
