Welcome to 5th grade! My name is Veronica Schmidt, and I am a Homer Community School alumni. I attended Wayne State College where I earned my Elementary Education Degree. In 2019, I received my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Wayne State College as well. Before coming to Homer, I taught at Wakefield Community School as the 4th – 6th grade writing teacher for four years. This will be my fifth year here in this district. I live outside of Homer with my husband, Jeff and our dog, Baylee. Our son, Brent, is attending WSC, and our daughter Brooklynn is attending UNO. I look forward to a great year of learning and sharing!
